Celsior's rear engine mount caused a vibration

My Celsior has a slight vibration when the engine is running at higher than 2200rpm. As I
push the gas pedal, it becomes worth at 2500rpm and disappears at 2800rpm. Judging from
the sound and the vibration, I first thought it was caused by a miss fire of one cylinder or two.
As I search the net, the Club Lexus in USA and other sites describe it as a problem caused
by aged engine mounts. Especially the rear engine mount / transmission mount is the key
for the vibration around 2500rpm. I was convinced and decided to change the rear engine mount.

Look at the new and the old shown below. The right side is the old one used for 13 years
nearly150,000km. The new one is taller. This means that how the old one's rubber was
compressed and cracked for the use of many years. It is natural that the car is behaving as
is not intendedby the designers.

You can see the cracks easily by this. There were cracks but the upper metal and the rubbers
were not completely separated yet.

After changing it, there is no more vibration and the car is very quiet. I should have done it
earlier.
