Additional blow-by gas line. Update 2

It was the end of 2011 when I have reported the situation of the oil catching
tank for a Honda Life at here.

It has been almost 8 months since then and the total distance ran was about
3000km after the tank was installed. The home made oil catching tank is not
full yet but the level of liquid caught inside is getting higher. I decided to empty
it and move the contents to a small bottle. The bottle has a capacity of 100cc
and the photo taken is as below. The total amount is about 40cc.

What was obtained running nearly 3000km

You can see that there are some engine oil, mixed engine oil with water and
water in it. After installing this, the air filter is not oily anymore at all. The lower
part of it used to be wet by the engine oil but the problem has gone and the
home made unit is working nicely.

Last time when I have reported, the contents was about 15cc or so judging
from the size of the tank. 15cc for 6 weeks and 40cc for 40 weeks don't match
in a sense of the ratio. It is probably because of the temperature. It was at
November when the additional blow-by gas line and the oil catching tank was
installed. The cold winter was just started then and the tank caught the moisture
produced by the engine a lot. Later on the water in the tank increased just a
little bit. The higher temperature, the smaller the moisture, I found. That was
the reason why I have seen the milk coffee like liquid when the oil filler cap
was removed in winter and none in summer before the additional blow-by line
was installed.
