About two weeks ago, I wrote this.

Although I have set up a front camera to the Toyota emblem at the radiator
grill, it was not easy to pass the cable to the driver's seat. The firewall of
the Celsior was made so firm that I could not pass through the cable easily.
As I search the Net there was a very nice site
that kindly explained the way how to pass cables from headlights to the
driver's seat.

In my case, I already have set up the camera at the radiator grill and I
thought I 'd better to pass the cable along with the liner of the food as was
below.

The cable end is close to the break booster. There is a grommet which is
passing a harness near there to the fender.

As I remove the fender liner, there are harnesses to the driver's seat as is
shown below.

I decided to pass through the camera cable via lower side of the grommet.
I made a small hole on it and put the cable in it. After that I used a glue called
a Silicon RTV Shinetsu KE3494 to keep the water and dusts out not to invade
the cabin.

The above method made it possible to send DC 8V to the camera and get
the video signals of 3 directions. Look at the photo below. Now I can see
the right, the left and the front lower side. My project to use a junk camera
obtained only for 2100 Yen is now completed and I can drive safer than
before. How do you like it?

Below is the actual right side.

Below is the actual left side and a pet bottle about 1m away in front.
Those 2 people were not there when I rerurned to the cabin.
